2023 Monte Tondo Soave Classico

The Monte Tondo vineyard can be found nestling in the gentle hills of Soave just a few kilometres from Verona on a slope overlooking the valley. Today it is 4th generation brother and sister team, Luca and Marta Magnabosco, who tend to the 25 hectares of vineyards situated on the best plots that the Soave zone can offer.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinged outskirts and watery hue. Delightful pear and red apple scents drift from the glass trailed by hints of lime, fresh herbs and wet stone. Delicious fleshy pear and ripe apple fruits fill the mouth with traces of lime, quince and wet stone lying underneath. Excellent flavour intensity carrying river stone like textural shape across the palate. Crisp acidity finishing long and scrumptious.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
