2023 Paxton Grenache

Aged in well used French oak puncheons for 8 months. Dark red core with black shaded edges and a purple red hue. Dark raspberry, plum juice and liquorice scents are expelled through the nostrils followed by some confectionary and dried herb notes. Juicy dark raspberry and liquorice fruits overlay dark cherry, vanillin earth and spicy pepper characters. Polished yet slightly chewy tannins with fresh acidity and a long succulent finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
