Review Summary: Rich, mid weighted Chardonnay with abundant freshness counterpointing a creamy textural feel.

The Detailed review: Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle tone of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense white peach, nectarine and dried honey aromas flood the nostrils followed by hints of crème brulee, biscuity nougat and delicate cashew end notes. Rich, creamy textured fleshy ripe peach and dried honey flavours are complimented by notions of crème brulee, biscuity nougat and subtle cashew. Finishes long with abundant freshness to counterpoint the creamy mouth feel.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews.....
A low-yielding vintage and not the finest for reds but it’s not all bad news – chardonnay is stealing the limelight. So many excellent ones, and here, another. It oscillates between flinty and fine, then builds, offering flavour and detail via winemaking (as in the creamy, nutty lees, the barrel ferment funk); it’s all here. Plenty of citrus, too. Mouth-watering acidity throughout and finishes convincingly.
