2023 Rob Hall Full Moon Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a light red hue. Perfumed scents of violet, red cherry, strawberry and fresh herbs engulf the nostrils with some subtle anise, forest floor and spicy cedar notes also chiming in. Delicious ripe red cherry and strawberry fruits drive the palate with some anise, dried herb, forest floor and spicy cedar underpinnings. Supplely textured it finishes fresh and possesses polished tannins. The red fruited conclusion both expansive and vibrant.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

From the Full Moon Vineyard in Gladysdale, and a new wine for Rob Hall; 25% whole bunched and matured in seasoned puncheons. Bright ruby. An earthy bouquet with its aromas of red cherries, underbrush and a little potpourri. Sweetly fruited on the palate, while the tannins are pliant and already well integrated into the wine. An overall sense of harmony and balance makes this a wine to drink now and over the next four to six years. Drink by 2030.
