2023 Rusden Chookshed Zinfandel

Super ripe Zinfandel with a plush, warm feel.

Deep midnight black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Potent black plum, liquorice and ripe raisin scents waft out of the glass followed by vanillin oak, hints of dark chocolate and cinnamon spice. Plush and warm in its feel, the rich full bodied palate is laden with black plum and liquorice fruits which meld into a back drop of black raspberry, vanillin oak, earth, raisin and gentle cinnamon spice. Velvet smooth tannins with a long spicy black plum and liquorice driven conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
