2023 Ryder Riesling

Ryder is the entry level label of Reillys wines, sourced from premium vineyards in the Watervale sub region of Clare Valley.
Brilliant pale straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense lime and citrus aromas infused with talc jump out of the glass followed by some orange rind and chalky mineral notes. Concentrated lime and citrus fruits are underpinned by sizzling acidity with orange rind, chalky talc and steely mineral characters also evident. Superb intensity and drive for such a miserly price. Finishes dry and crisp, the aftertaste long and racy. At just $10 this is crazy value.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
