Sons of Eden have been at the forefront of a new wave of Barossa winemakers revitalising the regions wine styles. Whilst some have pushed the barrier a little too far, overshooting the mark in their pursuit of elegance and freshness at the sacrifice of Barossa’s trademark richness, these boys regularly hit the bullseye. Right through their range of reds they are a model of consistency combining Barossa’s famed rich fruit with supple textures, a delicious savouriness and a fresh feel, never losing sight of what Barossa does best – produce rich, opulent full bodied reds.

The Marschall Family vineyards are located in the Tanunda and Ebenezer districts of the Barossa Valley with vines aged between 25 to 55 years old. Maturation takes place in a mix of new and seasoned oak hogsheads for a period of 14 months.
Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of liquorice and dark plum engulf the nostrils with hints of ripe blueberry, vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth notes also chiming in. Rich, succulent and fleshy, dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and blueberry fruits carry a plush feel across the seductive palate. Fennel, spicy vanillin cedar and peppered earth characters sit in the background. Showing ample power it has velvet smooth tannins and a sleek feel. Long, deeply fruited, pepper laced finish.
