2023 Soul Growers The Debutant Counoise Carignan

Dark red core with black toned edges and a red hue. Elevated dark raspberry and liquorice aromas stream out of the glass followed by some dark cherry, dried herb, light earth and spice notes. Juicy dark raspberry, cherry and red liquorice fruits carry light to medium body weight over a dried herb and spicy earth back drop. Polished tannins finishing fresh and succulent.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

A field blend, co-fermented in an open pot. It's light bodied, but the blend provides an unexpectedly fresh and supple feast of red fruits. A bit of fun, perhaps, but in truth it is more than that. Drink by 2028.
