2023 South by South West Chardonnay

Fermented and then matured in an even mix of new, one and two year old French oak barrels for a period of 8 months.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a subtle greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine and citrus mix with hints of biscuity nougat and dried honey. Vibrant nectarine and grapefruit flavours overlay a gun flint infused back drop of citrus and spice. Fresh acidity with a bright yet texturally pleasing mid length finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
