2023 Taka K Waipara Pinot Noir

Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels. Dark red in colour with black toned edges and a bright purple red hue. Sour to red cherry aromas infused with graphite like notes are trailed by some stalk and smoked meat like notes. Juicy red to dark cherry flavours mix with stalk, meaty graphite like characters, earth and traces of sour cherries. Leanish feel with lively acidity and chalky tannins. Finishes very structured, elegant and spicy.
