Rich, dense and inky with a sternly built muscular tannin structure and vibrant acidity.

Matured in new and seasoned French oak barrels for 18 months. Stunning saturation of colour featuring an impenetrable inky black heart along with an equally deep black dark purple hue. A touch restrained at first, the nose slowly offers up morello to black cherry, black plum and liquorice scents along with some vanillin cedar, scorched earth and subtle spicy fennel notes. Exceptionally rich and concentrated yet bright and youthfully fresh, morello to black cherry, liquorice and black plum fruits are framed by a muscular tannin structure and vibrant acidity. Dense and inky in its feel with some vanillin cedar and spicy earth elements lying underneath. Sternly built it finishes long, bright and robust.
