2023 Tim Gramp Watervale Riesling

Tim Gramp is a fifth generation member of the family that made Orlando famous. The Gramp family sold the company based in the Barossa Valley in the early ‘70’s, but Tim has continued the tradition by under his own personal label.
Brilliant water like core with a distinctive tinge of green to the edges. Jumping out of the glass are intense lime and citrus aromas which are trailed by green apple, chalky talc and steely mineral notes. Boasting fantastic concentration and drive, mouth watering lime, lemon and Granny Smith apple fruits are wrapped up in a steely core of mineral laced acidity. Finishes dry with laser like precision. Some chalky mineral and wet steel elements lingering through the long, powerful yet highly energised conclusion.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
