2023 Tomfoolery Son of a Gun Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz

Full bodied with rich plush fruit, sturdy tannins and prominent vanillin cedar and tobacco characters on the finish.

Matured for 12 months in French and American oak. Dense midnight black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced blackcurrant and liquorice aromas intermingle with cedary tobacco, dried herb and spice notes. Rich plush blackcurrant, plum and liquorice fruits flood the front half of the full bodied palate. Prominent vanillin cedar, tobacco and spicy dried herb elements swamp the back half. Polished yet sturdy tannins with prominent vanillin cedar and tobacco characters lingering through the finish.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
