2023 Two Paddocks Picnic Pinot Noir

Certified organic with fermentation and maturation taking place in French oak (2% new) for a period of 9 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with black toned edges and a bright purple red hue. Fragrant violet, wild strawberry and red plum aromas drift from the glass with hints of anise, dried herbs and spice also evident. Light, fresh and juicy the palate features red cherry and strawberry fruits over a back drop of rhubarb, earth, dried herbs and spice. Fine, slightly chalky tannins with lively acidity leading into an energetic red fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
