2023 Vasse Felix Filius Shiraz

Matured in 5-7 year old French oak barriques for a period of 12 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright purple red hue. Peppered dark cherry and plum scents intermix with hints of red liquorice, vanillin cedar, dried meats and scorched earth. The elegant mid weighted palate features red to dark cherry and red liquorice fruits over a peppered meat, earth and subtle spicy vanillin cedar back drop. Fine grained tannins with a savoury mid length conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
