2024 Brave Souls The Lighthouse Keeper Riesling

Brave Souls is collaboration between Sons of Eden and distributor David Fesq. The fruit for this wine was sourced from two standout vineyards within the higher altitude and cooler sections of Eden Valley, the Cranes Range vineyard and Boehm Springs Road vineyard. The 2024 vintage was a cool season with a long slow, and dry, ripening period which delivered pristine Riesling fruit with an abundance of flavour and natural acidity.

Concentrated and textural yet zesty Riesling with a long mouth watering finish.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a subtle tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense lime, citrus and orange rind aromas jump out of the glass followed by some chalky talc and delicate mineral notes. Zesty in it’s feel yet possessing plenty of textural volume, concentrated lime and citrus fruits flood the mouth with notions of orange rind, green apple, chalky talc and subtle steely mineral elements lying underneath. Crisp acidity with a long mouth watering finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
