Planted in 2001 to a mixture of clones, on a low vigour site (next to the Farr Rising Pinot Noir vineyard) with a large proportion of grey loam. The fruit is hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed to 20-30% premium new French oak, where it is allowed to naturally ferment until it is bottled 11 months later.
