2024 Mr Riggs Watervale Riesling

Watervale in the Clare Valley is home to some of Australia’s best’s Rieslings. It’s here that Ben Riggs sources fruit from the Brysky vineyards to produce this zesty lemon lime filled Riesling.
Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with a subtle greenish tinge to the outskirts. Lime, citrus and orange rind scents jump out of the glass followed by some chalky talc and mineral notes. Scintillating lime, lemon and green apple fruits are delivered with terrific drive, intensity and focus. Orange rind, chalky talc and steely mineral characteristics also chime in. Crisp laser like acidity finishing long, tense and mouth watering.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
