2024 Tim Adams Pinot Gris

After visiting the Alsace region in the late 1990’s where Riesling and Pinot Gris grow side by side, it seemed logical to Tim Adams that if Clare Valley had the conditions to produce worldclass Rieslings, it could also make quality Pinot Gris. The first vines were subsequently planted in the Tim Adams Ladera vineyard and today their Pinot Gris is one of the countries most popular.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint apricot tinge to the edges and a watery hue. Fragrant pear, Jonathan apple and rosewater scents blossom out of the glass followed by hints of Turkish delight and ginger spice. Intensely flavoured and beautifully shaped in its feel across the palate, luscious pear, apple and peach fruits are featured over a back drop of musk and ginger spice. Brisk acidity freshening up the long, deliciously fruity finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
