Turkey Flat have been refining the style of their Rose over nearly 30 years, the 2024 version is as good as ever. Made entirely from Grenache grapes.
Translucent damask pink tinged colour. Delightful scents of red raspberry, strawberry and musk bloom from the glass with plenty of intensity trailed by some wet stone notes. Traveling across the palate with a slippery textural feel are delicious raspberry, cherry and strawberry fruits. Notions of musk and wet stone ensue. Possessing excellent intensity and brisk acidity it finishes long, supple and very moreish. Trophy Winner at the Brisbane Wine Show.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
Alc. 12%

Other Reviews…..
It's good to have constants in your life, that you can rely on. Turkey Flat Rosé is one of those constants. Consistently delicious year in, year out. Such a pretty Provençal salmon in the glass with aromas of redcurrant, raspberry and small red berries along with hints of purple flowers, dried citrus rind, orange blossom, light spice, crushed stone and red apple pastries. Crisp, just a little texture and perfect for many occasions, it's just a ripper of a wine. Drink by 2028.

The 2024 Rosé is pale but packs a punch: pomegranate, raspberry pip, a watermelon coolness and rose petals galore. This has texture and savory spice alongside red fruit and length. Really good and recommended! It’s on the list of “definitely approved” summer rosés, although this will come as no surprise to those familiar with Turkey Flat rosé. 12% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. Drink 2024-2026.

Not only is it invariably a good rosé, but it’s also good value. The price has held firm for the past four vintages.
Raspberry, strawberry, red apple, and a musky floral perfume. It’s juicy, has a little watermelon flavour in the mix, along with red fruits and slightly earthy pepper spice, some blood orange tang to acidity, light chalky texture, and a discreetly off-dry finish of good length. Very nice. Drink 2024-2026+
