Amrut Two Indies Rum (700ml)

This is a premium release for Amrut, blended with column and pot-distilled Caribbean and Indian rums, the latter made from Indian jaggery (an unrefined natural sweetener made by evaporating sugar cane juice that tastes like a cross between spicy molasses and buttery caramel). It comes labelled as a tribute to farmers of the two rum cultures – West Indies (Barbados, Guyana & Jamaica) and the East Indies.

Tasting note: Deep amber gold. Bold, fruity aromas of dates and brandy sauce, cinnamon, clove and vanilla with a touch of paprika heat. Light entry builds medium-bodied flavours of caramel, vanilla and fruit cake; tannin and pepper warmth thinning out the finish. No artificial flavours. 42.8% Alc./Vol.
