In 1995, Ed Carr's vision of crafting world-class sparkling wine led him to Tasmania, where he founded House of Arras. The cool climate, pristine environment, and ancient soils make it an ideal location for producing top-quality sparkling wine. The Brut Elite Rosé is a blend of 64% Pinot Noir, 27.4% Chardonnay, and 8.4% Pinot Meunier, sourced from the Derwent and Coal River valleys, the Tamar Estuary, and Pipers River. Pinot Meunier adds texture to the mid-palate, while Pinot Noir brings bright red berry flavors. This cold climate sparkling wine showcases beautiful complexity and structural elegance.

I like the complex nose with toasted almonds, strawberries, red cherries and wet stones, as well as light herbs and gentle spice. The fleshy palate has succulent red-fruit flavors and light, nutty complexity. Bold, pinot-driven style here. Transfer method with sourcing from right across Tasmania. Drinking well now.
