Ayala Brut Majeur Champagne

A blend of 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier with an average of 3 years ageing on lees. A fine satiny mousse sits over a straw, pale gold edged base wine that’s delicately threaded by a very persistent bead. Rich yeasty baked bread aromas fill the nostrils with roasted almonds, toast and dried honey also present. Impressive richness and palate length with mouth filling flavours of yeast lees, baked bread and roasted almonds prevalent over subtle dried honey, oily toast and citrus characters. Finishes dry and creamy like with refreshing acidity and a long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
