Bayou Select Rum (700ml)

Bayou hails from Louisiana in the USA where they've been producing copper pot distilled rums since 2013. 'Select' is a blend aged up to three years in x bourbon barrels, made from a signature ‘sugarhouse’ recipe (unrefined Louisiana sugarcane and molasses). As a result, in some markets, like the EU, this can't actually be classified as as a rum.

Fruity aromas of Jamaican sweet plantains, coconut cooking oil, luxury cigarette shop, and chocolate fudge with a satiny, crisp, dry-yet-fruity medium body and an interesting, medium-long caramelized mango, leather strap, cigarillo, and dried pineapple and vanilla finish. Delicious and elegant flavors and a lingering finish make this a natural choice for stirred rum cocktails. 40% Alc./Vol.
