Bellebonne BIS Rose Sparkling

Aged on lees for up to 2 years. Pours with a foamy white mousse that dissipates to reveal a salmon pink coloured base and nimble, energetic bead. Delightful strawberry, yeast lees and baked bread scents engulf the nostrils followed by some oily toast like notes and brioche. Rich, mouth filling flavours of strawberry, yeast lees and pomegranate are intermeshed with subtle toast, brioche and chalk elements. Airy and creamy like in its feel, if finishes long, full and crisp.

A sparkling rosé of 68/20/2% pinot noir/chardonnay/pinot meunier; 8.25g/L dosage. Pretty salmon pink with fine, energetic bubbles and notes of red fruits, strawberry and grapefruit with hints of soft spice, almond blossom, red berry pastries and strawberry cream. Beautifully balanced, crisp and fruit forward with a harmonious flow and impressive tension and detail, acidity briney and fine, finishing with a swell of red fruits and minerals.
