Tasting notes... Deep brassy gold. Aromas of ginger and vanilla followed by orchard fruits and cream. Faint beeswax? Softer on delivery than the 12 year old with an attractive harmony of dilute honey, stewed pear and light spice. Concludes beeswaxy, delicately peppered with good freshness and length in the aftertaste. 43% Alc./Vol.

Other reveiws... An olde fashioned sweet shop, boiled sweets such as pear drops on the nose. With time toffee apples appear. A slight mintiness appears on the palate and we are back to the sweet shop – humbugs? A short finish with a spiciness. Overall a fun enjoyable dram that reminds you of your youth, heading out to buy a quarter of sweeties. Polished mahogany furniture, sweet ginger bread, Japanese incense, butter candy, delicate fruity smoke. Very sweet and well balanced. - WWA 2015
