Berneroy Extra Calvados Apple Brandy (700ml)

Calvados with the 'Extra' designation must be at least six years old, but they're often marketed much older than that. We can assume this was the precursor to what is now labelled 'XO' in the Berneroy portfolio. It was aged for around 10 years in old 'seasoned' French oak to preserve its aroma­tic intensity and avoid becoming over-oaked. 40% Alc./Vol.

Notes from the producers... Nose: Vanilla and butterscotch notes with a hint of citrus and light rancio. Palate: Baked and caramelized apples with buttery, slightly nutty notes and a
touch of cinnamon and spice. Smooth, round and lingering.
