A 25 year old pot still brandy produced by the reputable Berta Distillery. A selection of Piedmont varietals are employed. Comes packaged in a timber presentation box.

Tasting note [45% Alc./Vol. Batch Tasted]  Burnished gold / brass colour. An initial vanilla, clove and ginger top note deepens to reveal a seamlessly integrated amalgam that is part aged rum / part cognac offering gorgeous aromas of cedar wood, manuka honey, almond flan, candied orange and dried coconut. The soft entry leads into powerful, semi sweet flavours of raisin, vanilla and crème brûlée followed by a faint suggestion of sulphur. Creamy texture. The mid palate sweetness is beautifully balanced by spicy, gingery oak and fresh acidity, with the entire profile maintaining exceptional staying power. Concludes clean and dry with a cedar / cigar box after taste.
