Black Robin Rare Gin (750ml)

A gin that combines traditional exotic botanicals with native New Zealand Horopito, one of the world's most ancient flowering plants. The name is inspired by the extremely rare and endangered black robin (Petroica traversi), found only on the remote Chatham Islands. A percentage of profits are donated to the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society of New Zealand, an organisation dedicated to the preservation of the blue duck for future generations.

Tasting note: Crystal clear, silvery appearance. Initially juniper focussed bouquet is followed by hints of dried parsley, black pepper and citrus peel. Medium dry, light to medium bodied; presents an interesting combination of juniper, pine and dried herbal flavours with a vibrant peppery surge at the finish. Moderate persistence. Clean and well made. 43% Alc./Vol.
