Blackwater Wexford Strawberry Gin (500ml)

Produced only through the summer with all the strawberries used grown locally in Wexford by the Kearns family. No additional sweeteners are added. Recommended in a G&T with a slice of strawberry and a crack of black pepper.

Tasting note: The largest botanical component in this gin are the berries which also contribute a subtle pink blush. Medium dry aromas hint at strawberry milk or berry tart, the juniper just peeking through. Some orris root perhaps, then sweeter floral notes. Chamomile? Light to medium bodied and nicely textured with delicately expressed botanicals and a flourish of spice through the finish. Trace strawberry repeats in the aftertaste. A Summer style gin that strikes a good balance between fruit and traditional notes. 40% Alc./Vol.
