Bruichladdich The Organic Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

One of the few organically certified malts currently in production, distiller Jim McEwan has brought together the finest organic barley from farmers and partners, Sir William Roberts of Mains of Tullibardine, William Rose at Mid Coul and Neil Scobie at Coulmore. This multi vintage vatting is a lightly peated Bruichladdich. Matured in x-bourbon casks. Non chill filtered.

Tasting note: Very pale straw colour. On the nose, stewed pear mingles with butter menthol lozenge and hints of brine. Light to medium bodied and on the drier side, the palate shows some lovely, clean spicy malt with Fisherman’s Friend lozenge characteristics and cocoa and vanilla undertones. Falls away towards the finish. Light aftertaste. Not profound but eminently drinkable. 46% Alc./Vol.
