Cadenhead's take their legendary high-strength London Dry on a sensationally smokey trajectory with this whisky cask matured gin. Mellowed in x Caol Ila casks for 299 days, saffron is added prior to bottling. Extremely limited stocks.

Tasting note: Pale straw gold. Caol Ila leaves its stamp on the nose: smoked fish, a touch of dill, citrus and light vanillas while gin adds freshness. The herbal / briney / smokey attack replete with piney juniper and tangy citrus is a stroke of genius. Wow! Peated aquavit comes to mind. An absolute treat. 55% Alc./Vol. 342 bottles produced.
