Cadenhead's Old Raj Classic Rum Cask Matured Dry Gin (700ml)

Another Old Raj gin with a twist - this time it's been finished in x-Caribbean rum casks for 299 days with a dash of saffron added before bottling. Gin completionists should put this on their short list, along with Cadenhead's amazing whisky cask matured release. Very limited stocks.

Tasting note: Bright gold. Aromatically more rum than gin: Sweet yet fresh with the botanicals retained. Flavour wise, akin to an 'extra aged' cask matured style. Rum sugars vie with the gin's vibrancy, evoking the most delicious cough lozenge imaginable (citrus flavoured Fisherman's Friend?). Unique. Wonderfully innovative stuff. 55% Alc./Vol. 300 bottles produced.
