No age statement appears on this single grain whisky from Scotland's oldest and largest grain distillery, Cameronbridge. In 2007, present day owners, Diageo allocated 40 million pounds to improve the site, including a new tun room, fermenters, three new mash tuns and an effluent treatment plant which supplies energy via methane gas to run the distillery. The facility operates three Coffey stills and one patent still with nine columns for producing neutral spirits such as gin and vodka. Whiskies produced here are mainly distilled from wheat then matured in ex-Bourbon casks. They tend towards light, fruity styles, worth introducing non-Scotch whisky drinkers to. 40% Alc./Vol.
