Cape Byron Serendipity Peated Single Malt Australian Whisky (700ml)

An Australian interpretation of a traditional Scottish whisky, Serendipity is Cape Byron's 'heavily peated' offering. Aged in ex-bourbon casks, its fruity and delicately smokey aromas extend to the palate where a glaze of oily phenols combine with suggestions of peach and banana bread. Incredibly easy to drink at 46%, a subtle coastal tang rounds off a sweet Highland style. Reminiscent of quality Ardmore. Tasted from a 30ml sample. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the producers... The palate reveals soft charred oak, lemon meringue, and roasted nuts, intertwined with delicate smoke, hints of white peach, gingerbread, and shortbread.
