Castello di Gussago La Santissima Franciacorta Brut

A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Nero matured for 30 months on lees. Showing good hold is a fluffy white mousse which sits over a pale straw coloured base that’s finely threaded by persistent, tiny bubbles. Lifted pear and citrus aromas intermix with subtle bready yeast lees notes. Dry and yeasty with a subtle creaminess the palate has a vivid freshness to the pear and citrus flavours with yeasty baked bread and subtle cashew following on. Crisp acid finish with a pear, yeast lees, baked bread, citrus and subtle toast aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
