Tasting note: This is a blend of three to four year old rums distilled in a combination of copper pot stills and a Coffey still. It was aged in American white oak casks that once contained Jim Beam, Jack Daniels and Buffalo Trace Bourbons. Crystal clear / flawless and brilliant. Opens with scents of fairy floss, vanilla and hints of marshmallow. Second pass finds the aroma marginally subdued with suggestions of baked citrus, dried banana and grass. Middle-weighted, medium dry flavours of dried banana, vanilla and pepper. Chalky, gently spiced finish. Complex and beautifully balanced. 43% Alc./Vol.
