Chatelle XO Brandy (700ml)

Now discontinued, we have the last stocks of Chatelle's older sibling. Aged in 'small barrels' and presented in a 'Zenith bottle' (or decanter), the youngest brandy in the blend is around six years old. It's a tasty, vibrant style with an aged grappa-like feel offering aromas of fruit cake, brandy cream sauce, light vanilla and wood spice. The flavours are robust, hinting at ripe grapes, fruit bread, citrus zest and oak spice with a zesty, tingling, pomace-like finish. The XO classification makes it a value buy, good enough for sipping straight from a warmed glass and ideal for mixing tasty brandy-based cocktails. 40% Alc./Vol.
