Cinq A Sept (5 & 7) Small Batch Pinot Noir Vermouth (700ml)

An aromatic Pinot Noir based vermouth from winemaker, David Chapman of Allies Wines. Botanicals such as star anise, orange peel, green coffee beans and wormwood were steeped in fortified wine for six weeks to create this distinctive drink. The name, taken from a French expression (literally “five to seven”), refers to the two hour window between 5pm and 7pm when friends and colleagues pause between the working day to enjoy a drink. Expect raspberry fruit flavours laced with refreshing herbs, exotic spice and a gentle bitterness. Great on ice with a slice of orange or grapefruit, longer with a dash of soda or as a bit player in cocktails like the Negroni. Two barrels produced annually. 17% Alc./Vol.
