Clover Hill Tasmanian Cuvee Rose Methode Traditionelle
A frothy white mousse dissipates to reveal a pale salmon pink coloured base wine that possesses a very fine bead that shows excellent persistence. Winter strawberry and light ripe peach aromatics run into some yeast lees with faint toast end notes. Elegant with a fresh airy feel the palate has delicate flavours of winter strawberries that sit alongside some peaches and yeast lees with subtle lemon sherbet on the refreshing dry finish. Aftertaste of winter strawberries, yeast lees, faint toast and traces of sherbet.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Other Reviews…
54% chardonnay, 43% pinot noir, 3% pinot meunier. A delicious rose, with vibrant rose petal, watermelon and spice aromas, it spends over 2 years on tirage, and the base wine is taken through partial mlf. Its freshness and drive, coupled with a seemingly low dosage, gives a pleasingly dry, lingering aftertaste.
