An unaged Armagnac distilled from Colombard grapes, typically served straight over ice as an aperitif or reserved for use in cocktails. Crystal clear / silvery appearance. Varnishy notes dissipate after several seconds revealing pristine, delicately grapey aromas with hints of beeswax and almond. Good concentration. Grappa-like, medium dry, lightly fruity and waxy with a burst of spice. Ends fresh, dry with the fruity notes and gentle spices persisting. Lovely eau-de-vie.
