This amber coloured Pastis presents piquant aromas of liquorice, anise and peppermint lozenges and follows in a medium to full-bodied palate with flavours enhanced by the twenty or so plants and spices included (génépi and woody hints of moneywort to name a few). The result is quite a blast for the category, with more texture and intensity than most, especially through the spicy finish. The aftertaste is dry, fresh liquorice-like, peppery and long with late cool mint confectionary. 45% Alc./Vol.
