Distilleries de Provence Elisir De M.P Roux Liqueur (500ml)

An unusual and captivating liqueur made from a mix of plants and spices including marjoram, bitter almonds, ginseng, hyssop, damiana, star anise, lemon balm, fennel, costmary, coriander and more. After the ingredients have been macerated in alcohol for fifteen days, the elixir is rested for one to three months before bottling. Naturally its taste reflects the botanical composition: Vibrant and warm, with the essence of marjoram, lemon balm, mint and frail notes of aniseed. There are comparisons to be made with Yellow Chartreuse, Cuvee MOFS or sweeter styled absinthes. A wonderful digestif served chilled or straight over ice, it can also be used to enhance the complexity of cocktails. 47% Alc./Vol. Note: contains almonds.
