Dolin Genepi Chamois Liqueur (750ml)

For the local mountaineers and distillers, it's a tradition to harvest the flowers of alpine plants in August and macerate them in alcohol. Each has their own version. Dating back to 1821, 'Chamois' is Dolin's oldest Genepy recipe, made by macerating a range of herbs, but most prominent are the flowers of artemisia mutellina found principally in the high mountains of the Savoy. The resulting elixir is usually served on the rocks or with tonic water, but also makes a welcome addition to hot chocolate, or can add a grassy note to cocktails. 45% Alc./Vol.
