Dominique Portet Brut Rose Pinot Noir Chardonnay

This Sparkling Rose pours with a white creamy mousse that dissipates relatively quickly revealing a pale salmon pink base wine colour. Very fine and extremely persistent bead. The nose displays refined scents of winter strawberry and cherries followed by some biscuit and yeast lees. The palate exhibits flavours of winter strawberry and cherry flavours followed by some yeast lees, light toast and sherbet characters. Very dry clean crisp finish. Creamy like mouthfeel with aftertaste of winter strawberries, cherries, yeast lees and toast.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2011-2013).
