Dos Maderas 5+3 Year Old Rum (700ml)

Matured in Barbados and Guyana, after five years this was sent to Jerez de la Frontera where it was transferred to casks previously used to age the 20 year old sherry, 'Dos Cortados'. The finishing continued for an additional three years - hence the name "5 + 3."

Tasting note: Dazzling topaz. Enticing scents of honey, maple syrup, sticky date and walnut fudge. Light to medium bodied with an effortless delivery of dates, cocoa and molasses cake flavours followed by hints of dried peel and tea biscuits in a spicy, vivacious finish.
