Dos Maderas Atlantic Rum (700ml)

The fifth label in the Dos Maderas portfolio of Sherry cask-aged rums, "Atlantic" follows the standard set by 5+3, 5+5, Selección, and Luxus. Inspired by the vast ocean that embraces the Sherry bodega of Williams & Humbert on the western shores of Jerez de la Frontera, the rum's maturation navigates a blend of five-year ex-Bourbon oak-aged Rums from Barbados and Guyana, finished in twenty year old Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks. While Palo Cortado butts are employed for most of the Dos Maderas stable, proprietary VOS PX Sherry ‘botas’ are emphasized here, contributing rich notes of figs, dates, raisins, treacle, chocolate, tobacco and leather. It may not be quite as decadent as the 100% PX matured 'Luxus', however Atlantic is perfect for cocktails. Try it in a Daiquiri, Piña Colada, Rum Runner, Negroni or Old-Fashioned to get familiar with its range and versatility. 37.5% Alc./Vol.
