Linkwood is another of Diageo's relatively quiet distilleries that produces malt whiskies for blending, predominantly for the Bell's & Haig labels. Diageo's 2016 Special Releases included a rarely found official distillery bottling - a 37 year old cask strength gem selling for around $1000. Douglas Laing come to the party with this middle-aged bottling at a fraction of the price. Distilled in 1995 and bottled in September 2016 from a single refill hogshead that yielded just 283 bottles, this is also non chill filtered. 51.5% Alc./Vol.
