Echo Spring 3 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey (700ml)

Echo Spring is produced by Heaven Hill Distilleries.

Tasting note: Deep gold/orange with a pale gold hue. Spicy notes dominate the aroma - in particular cinnamon, clove, gingerbread and a touch of aniseed over a creme caramel base note. The palate is again quite spicy. Semi sweet with boiled confectionary, orange cake and gingerbread flavours unfold. Clean, warm, tingly spirit. The spiciness persists long into the subtle charry vanillan oak fade. 40% Alc./Vol.

Other reviews... Quite a change from previous bottlings with more youth here, less evident rye domination but lashings of mouthwatering grains, nonetheless. Some late liquorice hinting age at the finish. 83 points.
