Fratelli Saraceni Splendia Sparkling

An Italian sweet sparkling wine made from Merlot grapes with an added hint of natural strawberry infusions. Bright light strawberry colour with a gentle but consistent bead. Distinct strawberry bubble gum and ripe red cherry aromas are followed by sweet plummy confectionary notes. Fruity fresh strawberry bubble like flavours dominate the palate followed by plum juice and musk stick with a dollop of residual sugar present on the refreshing finish. Aftertaste of sweet strawberries, plum juice and musk stick. A light, delicate and fruity alternative to usuals sparkling wines. Perfect to have with dessert or after dinner. It also makes for a great aperitif, making it ideal for many occasions.
